Serkan Özkaya
Özkaya is a Turkish conceptual artist interested in art reproduction and typically working outside of traditional art spaces. Growing up in Istanbul, Özkaya was not directly exposed to Western artworks, and copied reproductions in books for practice. Özkaya has been involved with numerous academic and artistic institutions, including: The Malmö Art Academy, Malmö, Sweden; The Drawing Center, New York City, NY; Helsinki Art Academy, Helsinki, Finland; Brown University, Providence, RI and Columbia University in New York City.
