Amy Pryor is an interdisciplinary artist who holds a B.F.A. in Art History and Sculpture from Ohio University, and an M.F.A. in painting and printmaking from Yale. Through her art, she exposes the overabundance of consumer culture in contemporary society, exploring the intersections between marketing, commerce and the consumer along with the relationship of economics and capitalism to communities and culture.
Pryor’s works offer untraditional and semi-abstract depictions of aerial and ground views that explore the interdependence and connectedness within urban and natural environments.
