Photographer Joe Dilworth, who often shoots in black and white, perfectly captures the mood and weight of the subjects, landscapes, and objects he features.

Joe’s hauntingly beautiful photographs depict places and objects transformed by time and absence. Isolated relics discovered in an abandoned Berlin bunker comprise his “negative space” series, while his images from the cliffs and forests of Rugen, a tiny east German island, reveal the romance inherent to these deserted and disappearing vistas. He has shot album covers for Feist, Franz Ferdinand, Nick Cave, My Bloody Valentine and more.
