In 2011, Daniel challenged himself to create one physical drawing a day to interrupt the amount of time spent on his digital projects. This drawing is a playful, surrealist nod to the history of the influence of Eastern art on Western practices.
Daniel Horowitz was born in New York to an artistic family with an Eastern European background. After a successful career as an illustrator for clients such as The New York Times, Daniel transitioned to a fine art practice. In 2011, he solidified his professional transformation by undertaking an ambitious year-long project to create a work of art every day.
